  2. Tennessee Border States • TN shares shares boundaries with eight states. A boundary is the edge of a region. • Boundaries between states are called political boundaries. • Name Tennessee’s eight border states.

  3. Tennessee’s Three Grand Divisions • Tennessee is divided into regions called the three grand divisions: • West Tennessee • Middle Tennessee • East Tennessee
