  3. How about this? • During the 2000 season, the home team won 138 of 240 games in the NFL regular season. Is this strong evidence of a home field advantage? • What is the null hypothesis? • Ho: p = .50

  4. Or how about this? • A company is criticized because only 13 of 43 people in executive positions are female. The company explains that, even though it seems low at first glance, only 40% of its employees are female. • What is the null hypothesis? • Ho: p = .40
