General… Students were… hopeful, anxious Expect that they will be ‘Learning in new ways’ – no ‘spoon feeding’ – what does that mean?? ‘Expect that ‘Assessment will be different’ – hopefully less written exams?
What’s ‘Induction or Orientation’? Icebreakers??? No way!
Key information: Where is everything? What will it be like? Getting to know the College (physical spaces - don't want to get lost!) Want to meet and get to know the people in their class;
How are classes run? How is it different from secondary school? What’s my timetable like? How do I get / find books etc.
Who would they most like to meet? • Peers • Second / third years • Graduates of the programme • ‘Tutor’/ ‘head lecturer’ (go-to person)
