Group Assignment • Read the stanza or lines assigned to your group. • Define any words or phrases you do not know or understand. • Analyze your part of the poem • What theme is developed in your part of the poem?
Example: • “loosing theirs” is figurative language to say that people seem to be acting in a strange or unusual manner. • If is conditional . It usually comes in a cause and effect statement. Keep your head – remain calm in chaos and not listen to unwarranted blame or hate… • Some sort of directions – Have faith in yourself? • If you can keep your head when all about you are loosing theirs and blaming it on you
