Introduction cards • Born out of frustration • When meeting a new teacher/guest, students will… • Not say a word when asked, “Do you have any Q’s?” • Ask something inappropriate • Take forever to ask a good question • These cards fix this problem and reinforce basic English grammar/vocabulary!
Task • Change your word/phrase into a question (but please don’t write on them!) • Write make your own card. I will have the Japanese students ask me these questions, and will tell you their answers.

Jeopardy • Quiz game in the USA • You can make your own PPT or WB game easily. • Good for reviewing reading/listening lesson plan content • Divide students into teams • Correct answers earn them points
Typhoon Game • Divide students into teams • Ask questions • The team that gets the question right gets the points • If a team gets a “typhoon” question, they get to erase another team’s score!
