Practicing This is the most challenging thing to do! Find a quiet place to practice. Find a time to practice. Be focused Be disciplined Practicing 5 days for 10 minutes is better than playing one day for 50 minutes
Practice Tips • Find a quiet place to practice with no distraction. • Place your backpack beside you while practicing. • Count and clap the rhythms, practice the fingerings • Play the assigned song on your instrument. • Repeat steps 3 and 4 until playing is easier. • Do not spend more than 15 minutes of playing unless you want to. You can always do more tomorrow. Playing your instrument is not supposed to make you frustrated! • Place your folder in your backpack, put your instrument in its case, and place them both near your shoes so you don’t forget them for school! • IMPORTANT: Ask Mr. T if you need help
