  5. Dismod Installation

  6. Almost all buttons and menus disabled. • To get going you first have to open a data set. • DisMod data sets are organized in 'Collections'.To give you an impression an example collection (called 'Local') and data set (called 'Example') has been installed.

  8. Choose 'Data|Collection|open' in the data menu select 'Local' and click OK.

  11. DisMod Data Set • One population data set + Many diseases data sets • Population data set = total mortality rates and population numbers, both by age and sex. Pop. Data: -Number -Total death rate (By 1-yr agegr.&sex) Dz.2 Dz.... Dz.3 Dz.1 DisMod Data Set “Example”

  13. Calculating the result • Rule: At least 3 inputs before calculation • RR to Mortality & Case fatality rate have the same meaning. • Go to IHD

  17. Before closing the process window : If satisfy with changes ‘save change’ to input data only ‘save result’ = save both input and output
