  2. Method • Underline Matt. & Mark in Black • Underline all three in Blue • Underline Mark and Luke in Green • Underline Matt. and Luke in Red • Read the text carefully so that you do not make mistakes.

  3. How to Use The Syn. • The Syn. is organized by pericopes. • The pericopes are numbered. • The dark passage at the top of the page tells you what gospel is being followed. • This means that you may find a passage in two places (e.g. Matt. 10:16 in Per. 99 and 177).

  4. Matt. 10:16 Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω ὑμᾶς ὡς πρόβατα ἐν μέσῳ λύκων· 16     “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; Luke 10:3 ὑπάγετε· ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω ὑμᾶς ὡς ἄρνας ἐν μέσῳ λύκων. 3     “Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Example: Per. 99
