Oscillating Bearing Unit OBU: Sealing • depends on: • the influences from outside of the unit • available space within the design • the requirements of the customers • the chosen kind of lubrication • possible sealings: • presealing • gapsealing (f.e. gap-, chamber-, labyrinthsealing)  recommendation SKF: - gapsealing (- or, if necessary, a combination of preseal- and gapsealing)

Oscillating Bearing Unit OBU: Lubrication • kind of lubrication depends on: • requirements of the customers • the environmental conditions • possible kinds of lubrications: • long time grease lubrication (specially tested by SKF) • continuously grease lubrication • oil circulation or oil bath lubrication  recommendation SKF: long time grease lubrication
