Mission Our mission is to develop and produce clean energy from the sources we deem most ethically and financially suitable.
Short term plans • Build a Hydroelectric and solar power plant using capital gained from investors • Sell power to gain endowment • Create more state of the art solar power plants • Establish a holding in algae biofuel research
Long Term • Begin a Biofuel production facility using algae • Fund research into solar power • Investigate the possibilities in wind power.
Sources of Energy • Solar • Hydroelectric • Biofuels
Photovoltaic (solar power) • Have the most invested in research and some prototypes are very promising. • 3rd largest clean energy source in the world1 • Growing field for researching Solar power and new developments have reduced production costs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photovoltaics
Hydroelectric Power • Responsible for 16% of global energy production1 • Many untapped bodies of water exist that are available to create hydroelectric power plants http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydroelectricity
Algae Biofuel • A promising market for biofuels is the algae based biofuels • Rather than turning food into biofuels algae can be used instead • Could be produced in algae pools at sewage treatment plants
Customers • Many European countries are heavy investors in Green Energy (i.e. Germany) • They give grants to develop green energy for them to purchase
Competitors • Any fossil fuels pose themselves as a competitorthey are currently cheaper than green energy, but is a terminal business • The demand for energy is mostly filled by fossil fuels
Green Mountain Energy • They sell directly to businesses and households • They try too tailor plans to specific groups • Their market is limited to the US
