  1. Alpha Epsilon Delta NC Zeta Chapter The Health Preprofessional Honor Society

  2. Collecting MRFs today! • Today is your last day to hand in your MRF and $75 fee if you would like to be initiated this semester • I will get back to you within a week or so if you are eligible to become a national member and when initiation will be!

  3. March of Dimes • Become a community ambassador and teach others about the importance of daily folic acid consumption to prevent birth defects • Training session = 1.5 hours, and give 7-10 presentations to classes, churches, family parties, clubs, etc • See me after so we can set up the training session!

  4. VCOM • Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine • Representative will be coming to speak at next meeting! • Flyers on the school also outside of Dr. Ballard’s office

  5. Relay for Life • April 15-16 at Ashley High School • Help the American Cancer Society continue to save lives • Team fundraising goal = $1,500 • Join with other pre-health clubs?

  6. Run for the Red • April 16 at 9 am in Mayfaire Town Center • $25 for 5K run • $25 1 mile fun walk • First 300 entrants get a Red Cross Tshirt! • Register here

  7. Study groups Take a few minutes to find out what mutual classes members are taking Use this to your advantage! Get phone numbers/emails Sometimes it makes things a lot easier to study with other people!!

  8. Next Bake sale • March 2nd and 3rd 11 am – 3 pm? • Sign up or email me if you are interested in sitting at the table or baking goods for us to sell!

  9. Next Meeting • March 1 at 6 pm in Dobo 202 • Tshirts still on sale but must tell me ahead of time so I know to bring one to the meeting and what size
