History • The history of the factory began to be written in1845, when in the factory premises wassituated the first sugar refinery in Austro-Hungarianmonarchy. After several changes of owners andproduction activities, the factory was in 1920acquired by the join stock company HeinrichFranck & Sons, which restructured it to processingof dried chicory.
...and the history continued • Dried chicory was delivered by Franck& Sonsto own factories in practically entire Europe as a basic raw materialfor the production of caffeine free substitutes of roasted coffee beans. In 1949 was the factory Kavoviny transferred to state property and in 1992 the state companyKavoviny was bought on the basis of selection procedure by a private Slovak companyB.M. Kavoviny. • It was achieved a substantial progress of production, establishing of marketrankings and building up of the dominating market share of products marked by the trademarkB.M.Kavoviny in the Slovak trade network
