Emergence layer The emergence layer is maid up of different trees sticking up above the rest.
Canopy layer The canopy layer has 80% of all the life in rainforest, and gets almost all the light. Most plants in the rainforest spend there whole life trying to get to the canopy layer.
understory Some plants called epy fites cling onto other plants, some also kill the other plant there on. The understory is also home to the spider monkey.
Srub layer The srub layer is the layer just above the forest floor so not much light gets there. Plants here have to adapt to the low levels of light.
