ALERT Some drug names are changing To bring New Zealand into line with international practice the International Non-proprietary Name (INN) is to be used for medicinal substances. We currently use the British Approved Name (BAN). In most cases the BAN and the INN are identical. Where the two are different there will be a name change. There is a full list available from Pharmacy, on Nettie or in the front of the BNF If you are in any doubt please contact your pharmacist Take extra care February 2008
