  3. Find the roots/zeros/x-intercepts by FACTORING OR

  4. To find the y-intercept LOOK at your “C” value OR Substitute zero for x to find y

  5. To find the vertex • First find the axis of symmetry • Then substitute your x into your equation to find the y value. • Write as (x, y)

  6. Find the key features of each then graph

  7. Modeling Problems • Read the problem to determine units • Read each question carefully to determine what the question is asking you for
