This goes over the layout of Andy’s presentation, and rules we should probably stick to! Andy’s Presentation Layout
Research He started by giving a bit of background research, i.e. The fact that walking was the most popular activity for adults in the UK. Statistics might be useful here? He mentioned the problem of taking children with the adults
Current Solutions He then gave a few samples of currently available solutions, such as pushchairs and the backpack style of carrying children on walks. Pictures showed inconveniences and flaws in the current solutions
Problems Andy covered problems faced by the user. He used diagrams showing strain on the users back and legs. He also used videos and pictures to show how difficulties might be found, i.e. Showing that two wheels could have uneven height on certain surfaces
Concepts Andy showed pictures of him working on the project in his (garage?) or workshop. He also showed concept drawings of what a potential product could look like. He also showed a prototype in testing.
Final product idea He finished by showing a near-final product being tested, and the ease he found of using it (speaking to others without needing to worry about the pullchair). This was displayed in a video.
