Objectives • Students will be able to compare & contrast characteristics of fairy tales • Students will appreciate literature more having some background knowledge and history as a foundation to understanding it
Fairy Tales • Fairy Tales are stories that tell of miraculous and fantastic happenings..
Characters • The main character in fairy tales are often supernatural and can do all sorts of extraordinary things
Characters • These beings could be creatures such as fairies, goblins, elves, giants, trolls, leprechauns, witches, and wizards.
Settings • Fairy Tales can take place anywhere at any time.
