What time do I have to be there? • Arrival/check-ins between 8:00am-10:30am • We encourage that you arrive no later than 10am so you are on time for the sessions that follow check in. • Get the schedule here…
How do I sign up? • An email will be sent to your personal and new PSU email address from the New Student Orientation Office. • Within this email are directions on how to find the form and what to do with it.
Do I have to take the Math Placement? • Yes! • If you are majoring in… • Biology • Biotechnology • Chemistry • Computer Science • Information Technology • Mathematics • Meteorology • If you are taking Calculus • This math placement helps in determining what math class you should take. • It is available online at the link below. • It is advised that you please take the placement prior to Orientation http://www.plymouth.edu/webapp/courses/course/view.php?id=11244
Can I attend one of the two-day Orientation Programs? • Absolutely! • What is the two day orientation program? • The two-day sessions in June are: • June 3 & 4, 2012- Sunday & Monday • June 10 & 11, 2012- Sunday & Monday • June 13 & 14, 2012- Wednesday & Thursday • June 17 & 18- Sunday & Monday-Not available to reserve until May 21st
What is the two-day Orientation Programs? • Generally, the two-day sessions are of greatest benefit to entering first year students who have no prior experience in a university setting. • However, if you have interest in attending one of our two-day sessions, please call 1-800-842-6900 and we can discuss with you whether the one-day or two-day session will best suit your particular needs.
Can I make my reservation via telephone? • Unfortunately, we do not make reservations via telephone. • All students must fill out their RESERVATION form via the web site which is on myPlymouth. • I can’t find the reservation! • REMEMBER! • New students MUST attend new student orientation in order to enroll as a student at Plymouth State University.
