It achieved the honour of being declared one of the main three Universities of the Kingdom in the 16th Century

THE GENERAL FOUNDATION • Development and management of R&D agreements between University and private companies and public institutions. • Organization and management of specialized training courses which are not included in official syllabuses. • Organization of Language Courses and Spanish Courses for Foreigners which belong to University of Valladolid. • Promotion of work experience programmes in companies and support for the laboral insertion of students and graduates. • Management of University facilities (university hall of residence and apartments for students).
