D W L W L D 1.1.2 Mechanical Inspection * If there is none identified criteria in this specification, Samsung will refer production specification that Customer and Samsung agreed. * If there is mechanical dimension issue which has no designated tolerance, Samsung will apply natural tolerance. 1.1.3 Visual Inspection [ D : diameter, W : width, L : length, N : count ] *1 : Translucent edge is ignored in measuring the diameter of spot.
1.1.4 Electrical Inspection [ L : length, N : count ] • Definitions/ Notes; • - On/Off bright dot count as single bright dot. • Adjacent dot count as single dot defect for total number of dot defect. • Adjacent rule is only for dot defect not uniformity. • Uniformity issues should inspect at Black, White, R,G,B Pattern • not a gray pattern.

Minimum distance between dot defects 【bright dot - to - bright dot】 【dark dot - to - dark dot】 * Adjacent two & three dots in horizontal direction will be considered as one dot. * Minimum distance criteria is applied to the defect which are not defined in the spec. That is adjacent dots (two or three) do not follow minimum distance criteria. * The distance between bright dot & dark dot will not be considered. * The distance between dot & mechanical defect will not be considered.
