The agencies were asked to perform the following tasks: • Project and related data: • Create Project, Categories, Project Item, Funding, Location data, and Generate Detailed Cost Estimate Reports • Proposal and related data: • Create Proposal, Associate Projects to Proposal, Price Proposal Items, Proposal Times, and Generate Proposal Level Reports • Letting and bid data: • Create Bid Letting Record, Associate Proposal to Bid Letting, Create Electronic Expedite File, Enter Proposal Vendor Data, and Manual Entry of Bids
The Information feedback collected covered: • Content • Navigation • Screen layouts • Workflow • Error messaging • Report generation and layout • On-line help
Comments were separated into: • Errors = Call ticket • Existing backlog items • New functionality, improvements or nice to have’s = call ticket • General statements
Call tickets generated: • FLDOT: 38 call tickets • INDOT: 18 call tickets • NCDOT: 22 call tickets • OHDOT: 22 call tickets • OKDOT: 10 call tickets • VTDOT: 23 call tickets • All entered in Team track for public view
Top items from multiple states: • Yes/No/Cancel • Back button to work • Add direct links between proposal vendors, bids, and lettings • Add a close button to the initial report page • Create a 1 page first-time-user tips • Reword & Reformat quick search on home page • Associate categories to items and alternates to items easily • Make Help button bigger • Add HOME to home icon or replace with wording
Preliminary Release (Pre-Production) • Evaluation license available to all agencies • No evaluation fee for Release 1 • Provide standard level of evaluation licensee support • Early feedback prior to Beta and Production release is important • Agencies should contact a TTF member • ttf@cloverleaf.net
Agencies Requesting Release 1: • The TTF will be sending out a letter to End User Designees (EUD) notifying agencies of Release 1
Beta Testing • 3 month beta period (March through May 2008) • Beta site mobilization complete at least one sprint in advance • Beta begins with February 2008 sprint results • At least 85% of planned business functionality complete • March and April sprint results provided to sites • 100% planned business functionality in April results • Will also include beta issue resolutions
Beta Testing – Pre-install Checklist • Agency has the latest client/server Trns•port releases installed for interface testing • Agency Cloverleaf access to download software. • Agency Team Track access for beta issue reporting. • ITI has access to test and development database and web servers. • Validate required client/server interface environment. • Have agency review instructions for the prior sprint in order to identify possible issues with the release sprint
Beta Testing Time Frame • Phase 1 – Agency acquire and install hardware and software required for beta testing • February 2008 timeframe • Phase 2 – receive sprint • March 2008 timeframe – beta testing begin • Web Install • Database install • Migration testing • Application testing • TTF requests beta site volunteers by November 16, 2007
