  2. 19th Amendment. • The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote. • This means that no citizen of the United States cannot be denied by any state on account of there sex.

  3. The 19th amendment finally passed. On August.29,1920 the 19th amendment finally passed as a law. The women’s right convention played a huge role in making this amendment a law.

  4. Women’s right Convention. Elizabeth Candy Stanton and Lucretia Mott was the founders of the women’s right convention.

  5. The beginning of the women’s right convention. On July.19,1948 the first women’s right convention was held in Seneca fall, New York.

  6. N.A.W.S.A National American Woman Suffrage Association. This organization began in may 1890.

  7. What was the N.A.W.S.A The NAWSA was the largest and most important suffrage organization in the United States, and was the primary promoter of women's right to vote NAWSA pushed for a constitutional amendment guaranteeing women's voting rights, and was instrumental in winning the ratification of the 19th amendment in 1920.

  8. Education for women. Mary Lyon founds Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, this was the first four-year college exclusively for women in the United States.

  9. Founder of education for women. Mary Lyon was a schoolteacher from Massachusetts and a American pioneer who found worldwide model of higher education for women.

  10. President when the 19th amendment passed. Woodrow Wilson was president when the 19th amendment passed as a law.
