  1. Wednesday 19th November IT IS ANTI-BULLYING WEEK (17th – 21st November)

  2. All Year Groups Throughout the week there will be assemblies, stalls and various other activities running as part of Anti-Bullying week. The first activity is “Acts of Kindness” If you do something nice for someone throughout the week please write it down and give it to your tutor teacher. There will be a prize for the best one, and we will also display them in the school. It is “nice to be nice!!”  - Have a great week! The Anti-Bullying Committee Wednesday Sports Clubs All clubs will be cancelled today after school due to a staff meeting

  3. All Year Groups Bella Christmas Card Competition Design the school Xmas card. The Head Teacher needs your imagination and creativity to design the school  Christmas Card.  Your design will be seen by  many and this is a great opportunity for you to showcase your artistic skills.  The winning design will be printed in full colour with the winner’s name and sent to the many contacts of Bellahouston Academy.   We need your winning designs to be completed no later than 28th November.  The winning designer will receive a prize for their design. Ms Bain will be offering a Friday lunchtime club in Art 4 for budding Xmas card designers Villareal Trip A reminder to all pupils to return their Villareal tear off slips if you want more information on the trip.

  5. S5/6 Sports Leaders Some of our Senior Sports Leaders took part in our local primary cluster cross country event. They helped to organise and run the event which took place in Bellahouston Park including stewarding the course and encouraging the participants who all had a fantastic time. Well Done to all! Prom Deposits Thank you to everyone who has paid their deposits so far. You can bring your £15 to Mrs Johnston’s room from 1pm today. Supported Study

S3 FESTIVE THEATRE TRIP ‘Peter Pan’ King’s Theatre Thursday, 18th December (1pm) Pupils involved in this theatre trip who have not yet paid in full are reminded that they must pay the balance by Friday 12th December at the latest, or their tickets will be given to those on the Reserve List. Payment can be made to Mrs Wewiorski during Intervals, Lunch times or at the start of Drama lessons.

  8. S2 Netball Well done to the S1/S2 Bellahouston Netball Team who took part in Glasgow Schools league match against Bannerman. It was a hard fought game but Bannerman managed to secure the victory. Well Done to all involved especially to the S3 girls for helping to coach, time, score and umpire the game. Beaumartin Restaurant Visit Just a reminder to S2 pupils, that permission slips for the Beaumartin restaurant should be handed into Mrs Albarracin
