  2. The company was founded in 1959. Peterquelle is named after the owner‘s (Hermann Kern) son.

  3. The company has 40 workers, 20 of which are women. Peterquelle is a productioncompany that produces natural mineral water.

  4. The company has several wells. The water is pumped from the well to the racking plant, where it‘s filled in bottles.

  5. In addition to the main variety, Peterquelle has also two other types of mineral water. They are called „Minaris“ and „Steier Quell“.

  6. The area of the company is 15.000 m² large. The is an office, a racking plant, stock pile and a few wells.

  7. The manager Mr. Nagler told us that the company has 2 shifts. At the moment Peterquelle transports its products only in Austria. But there are plans to export to other countries like Canada.

  8. Mr. Nagler thinks that the European Union extension to the East is very good, because he thinks it‘s necessary to unite and enlarge Europe. Despite the European Union extension to the East, he doesn‘t expect to have more competition. After the extension he will export products to eastern European countries.
