3. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle • This sequence of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is part of the broader Integrated Studies unit. The unit will provide students with the knowledge to be informed consumers and make a difference to the environment

4. Understandings • Impact of people on our environment – individuals can make a difference • People produce waste • Some waste can be reduced, reused and recycled • Motivations – there are many reasons why people chose to reduce, reuse and recycle

5. Activity one: ‘Reusable Art’ Tuning in: Reusing everyday objects that would usually be thrown out.

6. Reusable Art Outcomes: Students will be able to: • Identify materials which can be reused; and • Creatively adapt materials for another purpose. • Recognise the value of reusing materials.
