  3. Famous Artists - Introduction In this assignment you will explore five different famous artists and their works. You’ll learn their country of origin and what art period their work is associated with. You display what you learn about each artist using a PowerPoint presentation.

Famous Artists - Tasks The following tasks will be completed as you work through this assignment. • You’ll be reading and taking notes about 10 different artists. • You’ll be designing and creating your first Powerpoint presentation for me. We’ll use this as a learning experience for both of us. • I’ll learn what you can do in Powerpoint • You’ll learn some Powerpoint tricks you may not know.

Famous Artists - Process • Step 1: Choose 10 of these artist to research in your presentation. • Salvador Dali • Leonardo da Vinci • Edgar Degas • Henri Matisse • Claude Monet • Georgia O’Keeffe • Pablo Picasso • Jackson Pollock • Rembrandt • Pierre Auguste Renoir • Auguste Rodin • Vincent Van Gogh • Andy Warhol • James A.M. Whistler • Grant Wood

  6. Famous Artists - Process • Step 2: Use the resources page and follow the links to find the needed information about the 10 artist you choose. • Step 3: Create a Powerpoint slide for each artist. On each slide be sure to include: • Artist name • Life span • Art movement he/she is most closely connected to • Samples of their works, including the name of the works. • Any descriptions of there art that would set them apart from others. • Step 4: Be sure to include a title slide with appropriate headings and pictures.
