  2. Where most of the missiles were held. Cuban Missile Crisis was the closest the world ever came to nuclear war. Some of the missiles were posted in turkey. Also Cuba held missiles .

  3. The Cause! Fifteen years into the cold war the new president and the Soviets met in Vienna . east and west confrontation. Soviets felt threatened because the U.S. still had more missiles.

  4. Begging of the Crisis The crisis began on Monday October 15. October 16 Kennedy find out about the missiles . We wanted to appear not scared yet avoid confrontation with the soviets.

  5. TheSoviets Andrie Gromyko was the Foreign Minister forthe soviets The soviets wondered if the air force could take out there missiles.

  6. The Confrontation Wednesday October 24 we got conformation that enemy ships were at your quarter line. after receiving a radio message from Moscow from the sectary of state dean Rusk. A quote from dean Rusk We were eyeball to eyeball and the other guy just blinked."

  7. The Compromise October 28 Khrushchev announced over Radio the Soviets would dismantle the nuclear missiles. In the picture (Fidel Castro leader of Cuba and Khrushchev leader of Russia)!

  8. Conclusion October 22 it took Kennedy and Khrushchev seven days to reach a compromise. They used radio and mail to come to the compromise. Nine months after the crisis, Kennedy and Khrushchev agreed to ban nuclear testing.
