les verbes -er remove the -er. add the following endings with these subjects: je (I) -e nous (we) -ons tu (you) -es vous (you) -ez il (he) -e ils (they) -ent elle (she) -e elles (they) -ent

Using the word parler (to speak) • take off the -er and we have parl- • to say “I speak”, use “Je” and then put the ending that goes with “Je “ on the end of parl- Je parle. I speak.
