GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY 6 Just the singing and relaxing, and I--I just love that. For there's lots of times I like to come in here and just rest. I'd like to come over here and just relax like this for awhile. And I got it on tape now, so I'll just get real nervous, I'll just turn on the tape and relax. I'll be at Pisgah. Maybe the tape could catch the rhythm of it, and God will furnish the Spirit of it. Just to--to hear it when I feel real upset. Five Aspects of a Godly Man • Lord of the Earth (Genesis 1): Man is created in the image of God to rule and subdue the earth for God. • Husbandman(Genesis 2) Man is created to cultivate the persons and things within his realm, so they fulfill their potential within God’s creation. • Savior(Genesis 3) Man is created to war sacrificially against evil and injustice until these are vanquished. Sage(Proverbs 1-9) Man is created to be trained by mature men, to gain skill and insight, to take his place among wise men, doing work which counts forever. • Glory of God (1 Corinthians 11; Ephesians 5) Man is created to reflect God’s glory in his own life, roles, and activities. Made for God and deriving his own masculinity from God, man relates to nature, women, and other men in ways characteristic of God’s power, righteousness, grace, and love. Success!

A.DECEIVED.CHURCH.BY.THE.WORLD But man wanted to be like, they compare, or to copy after, go like world does, say the things that they do, make a success the way they were a success. We cannot never be a success doing anything the world does. We can only be a success as we follow after God's statutes and His way of doing things. We can never be by patterning after the world. If the cigarette company has met their greatest success by television, and the beer and the whiskey crowd has made their great success through the contribution of television, that's no sign that the church shall make its success by television. The success of the church lies within the preaching of the Gospel, of the power of God, and the Success!
demonstration of the Spirit. We do not have any Scripture to compare with them people. And as long as we do, we may draw great numbers of people, but that's not what God ordained us to do. We think because that we're all colors, flying high, great organizations, causing great colorful things to take place, that it's a success. We are dying daily on our feet, spiritually speaking. If we stood ten-million strong this morning, and the Holy Spirit wasn't with us, we'd do well to stand ten strong with the Holy Spirit with us. We cannot compare with the world. • 59-0628M Success!
CHURCH.AGE.BOOK 352-4 You know there have been some awful cold drafts blowing on the church in this generation, and I'm afraid her eyes have sort of frozen shut and she is blind to what God has for her. She needs some hot oil of the Spirit of God to open her eyes. Unless she receives the Spirit of God she will go on substituting program for power and creed for Word. She counts numbers for success, rather than to look for fruit. The doctors of theology have shut the door to faith and forbade all to enter. They neither go in, nor let anyone else go in. Success!

But if God tells me something that you know to be the truth, then you know whether that's truth or not. It's a female disorder. Operated, I see you coming off the operating table with something white over your face, but it wasn't successful. That's right. But that devil hid from the doctor, but it can't hide from God. EARNESTLY.CONTENDING.FOR.THE.FAITH 23 Not all are prophets, not all are apostles, not all are this or that, but it's given. Those things are born in us by election. Gifts and callings are without repentance, how many Scripture readers know that, let's see? Gifts and callings, not what you want to be, it's what God makes you, see. You are because God has chosen you to be, not because you chose to be, God chose you. And if you're trying to make yourself something that God hasn't chose you to do, you're only a mimic, and it'll never be a success. You've got to be what God chose you to be. • 56-0419 Success!

Israel And The Church #1 24 Someone was asking me the other day, well, even this day, about a certain person that was a successful person in a certain thing that they were doing. And said, "Oh, Brother Bill, the Lord must be in that." I said, "He can't.“ "Oh, they're getting souls saved." I said, "It can't be. Because, if it is, it's contrary to His Word. Then God isn't going to say one thing and then say another thing. He's going to tell one thing all the way through." See, God can't lie. God's infallible, His Words are. GOD.PROJECTING.HIS.LOVE If ever I had a time of success of praying for anyone, is when I could enter into the fellowship with them, feel their infirmities, feel their conditions. Then something in you goes down beyond the reasoning and prays the prayer of faith for the sick. You've got to feel for a man. You've got to sympathize with him. You've got to be with him before you can help him. Then you enter into some sort of a deepness; it's the love of God. It's beyond human love. 57-0806 Success!
Enticing Spirits Give me a preacher; give me a Christian; give me a housewife that's a Christian; give me a farmer or a factory worker that'll put God first in everything, I'll show you a man that'll be successful in the spite of all the devil can put on him. He seeks God first. But they didn't do it. They were all clouded over because Ahab had a great bright kingdom, and he'd done a whole lot of things, and had his great fineries, his gold and his silver, and been a great successful man; yet an unbeliever. 55-0724 Success!
THE.SEAL.OF.THE.CHRIST 11 …That's the way the Holy Spirit does us, comes around and shakes down a few things that's loose in the church, loose in the individual. Just a little reckless living, the things that we ought not to do, and the little things that's wrong with us, God comes around and shakes them: First to see of you're solid on the Word, see if you're eligible, as a child or servant of God to carry on. 55-0312 My Way
REDEMPTION.BY.POWER 137 Standing there, the Angel of God went before the camp of Israel, and removed, and went and stood between them and the enemy. And the Angel of God is standing tonight between every individual here and the enemy.I know what I'm speaking of… I know that God has condescended, coming down from glory, standing in this building now. A.DOOR.IN.A.DOOR 238 Now, that still, little Voice that knocks at your heart's door, it might knock so many times till it may be very faint right now. But let's just be honest with God and ourselves, for just one minute. That little knock, way down there, that said, "I better curb my ways. I'd better be different. I'd better straighten up.
