Raising Cain and Abel • Abel’s character • He was submissive to God • The LORD did not leave Abel to invent his own way • God must have told Abel to bring a flesh offering • Cain’s character • Cain did offer something (Mat. 15:8,9 a warning!) • Cain became angry, bitter, resentful, and envious • “the way of Cain” (Jude 11)
