  2. Wat is METIS • Metis is een onderzoekinformatiesysteem • Meest gebruikte systeem van Ned. Universiteiten • Ontwikkeld door Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen • Doel: koppelen van onderzoeksgegevens ten behoeve van (verplichte) rapportages voor visitatiecommissies

  3. METIS • INLOGGEN • D.m.v. inlognaam en password • Toegang tot gegevens op twee manieren geregeld: • Profiel van de gebruiker • Organisatiedeel van de gebruiker • Alleen METIS CONSULT is zonder gebruikersnaam en password beschikbaar

  4. Aanpak • Gefaseerde overgang naar Metis • Starten met degenen met de meeste OZIS ervaring • Economie en Bedrijfskunde • GMW • Rechten • Letteren • Vanaf 2006 overige faculteiten • (nu theologie en filosofie)

  5. ROLLEN • Invoerders • Facultair Beheerders + O.Z. directeuren formeel/uitvoerend • Centraal Beheerder Metis (functioneel: Gert Jan Bokdam en Margreet Nieborg) • Technische ondersteuning DB • Applicatie beheer RC • Project leiderschap BIV/UB (Henk Ellermann)

Tot dus ver: • Aanschaf METIS server en installeren onderliggende software • Installatie METIS door het UCI • Centrale inrichting/vulling METIS uit OZIS • Koppeling met Peoplesoft • Uitrol naar (pilot)faculteiten (faculteitsafhankelijk) • Opstarten supportorganisatie (e-mail, telnrs., websites) • Werken met METIS • opstellen en delen procedures en richtlijnen • formaliseren interne gebruikersorganisatie • (her)schrijven handleidingen

  7. Uitrol per faculteit • Conversie van OZIS naar METIS bestanden • Introductie/training gebruikers • afspraken over koppeling met - PeopleSoft -(aanstellings)gegevens • afspraken over een eventuele retrospectieve vulling van METIS voor faculteiten • alternatieve invoer; Ref Manager en inlezen in RIS van andere bestanden, zoals Word. • Voortgangsevaluatie
