  5. Even when dry it is long and unrelenting

  6. One is lucky to find hard pack that isn’t rutted

  7. The loose gravel can cause a crash

  8. If you’re going to buy a polka-dot jersey announcing that you are the best climber in the race, you better not be photographed pushing your bike. Hopefully his kids bought him that.

  10. Why ruin your $200 SIDI’s by pushing your bike?

  23. Bill Hamilton’s kid, Tyler. He set the hill climb record in 1997 at 51:55 and lowered it in 1999 at 50:21. Tom Danielson set the current record in 2002 at 49:24.
