MOUNTAINS: There are many mountains in Catalonia. • Pirineus are situated in the north of Catalonia. In winter the mountains become very attractive for the tourist. You can practise snow, ski and other winter sports.
COASTS: The most famous coasts in Catalonia are: • Costa Brava, in Girona • Costa Daurada, in Tarragona. They are famous because their marine fauna is amazing and we can go diving.

LA SAGRADA FAMILIA • It is a big church in Barcelona built by Antoni Gaudí in 1882. They are still building it and it is one of the most important temples in Catalonia. It is a symbol which represents Barcelona.
The language spoken in Catalonia is Catalan. Catalan is a Romanic language and is spoken by nine millions of people.This is the Catalan flag.That Catalan Mediterranean food is rich and varied but one of the most important Catalan dishes is tomato spread on a slice of bread and on top you can have jam. One of the most interesting tradition is “Correfocs”People disguised as asdevil run while shooting fireworks. It represents happiness, and they dance while drummers play. In Barcelona you can see them in September at “the Mercè”. CORREFOCS
That’s a Catalan word that means castles– they are a cultural phenomenon particular to Catalonia and consist of erecting human towers. CORNELLA’S CASTLE • Cornella’s castle is the most important construction in town and it’s located in the center of Cornellà on a very small hill where people can have a very good sight of all the river, Llobregat. The structure has an origin of fourteenth century.

Comenius is a Europeanprojectwherestudentsfromdifferentcontriestraveltogether to different places in Europe. In 2011 four studentsfromthishigh schooltraveled to Portugal. Commenius, Portugal
Last year we went to Paris in an exchange with French students. We spent a week with them after their previuos visit and stay in Barcelona with our families. It was GREAT!!!!
