  2. Tsunami is a misplaced large volume of a body of water coming from an ocean or a large lake they’re much longer than a sea wave.

  3. Tsunamis generally consist of a series of waves with periods ranging from minutes to hours.

  4. These waves impact are limited to coastal areas, but their destructive power can be enormous.

  5. 2004 Indian ocean tsunami was among the deadliest national disasters in human history killing over 230,000 people .
