  7. Acts 2 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

  8. Acts 2 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting

  9. Acts 2 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them

  10. Acts 2 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them

  11. Principle The increasing and continuous control of the Holy Spirit in one’s life is the key to spiritual growth and maturity

  12. Application Questions Are you filled with God’s Promised Spirit? Will you allow His Spirit to change you & to empower you?

  16. Acts 2 22 Fellow Israelites, listen: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs

  17. Acts 2 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross

  18. Acts 2 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

  19. Acts 2 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear

  20. Acts 2 36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

  21. Acts 2 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

  22. Acts 2 38 Peter replied, Repent & be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

  23. Acts 2 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call

  25. Application Questions Is Jesus your Messiah, Son of God, Lord of all? Will you repent today & purpose to Love your Savior & Live by His Spirit?

And now O Glorious & Blessed God, Father, Son and Spirit, You are mine & I am Yours.
