ABOUT NBA • Approximately 1000 students • Proportion of students known to be eligible for free school meals is high • More students than average are supported at school action plus or have a statement of special educational needs (approximately 27%) • Over two thirds of students come from a wide range of minority ethnic backgrounds • Nearly a third speak English as an additional language
