Trigger simulation for 2004-2005 • Trigger data quality • Calorimeter trigger threshold calibration • DC trigger threshold calibration LNF, 1 Feb 2006 M.Palutan and B.Sciascia for the Trigger group
Trigger data quality • critical issues: • hardware errors from TORTA board CALO trigger information in the decision board is not compatible with what observed at the sector’s level • bad RF signal from DAFNE some clocks are lost by the RF/4-T1 sinch. chain wrong event-t0, bad calo time resolution. • missing veto at injection (not critical, possibly higher bkg) • results: • list of “bad” runs

Calorimeter trigger threshold calibration • Control samples: • Kcrash+autoTRG • + KS p0p0 (“photons”) • + KSp+p (“pions”) • Single sector threshold evaluation for data and MC • 2004-2005 data set divided in 20 periods of about 100 pb-1 • according to main HW interventions and machine stops. • Results: • Comparison of Data and MC photon thresholds MC thr settings (already in DB2).
