  3. There is a signifcance of Vijaya Ekadashi. As per beliefs where Vijaya is the gatekeeper of Lord Vishnu’s celestial abode Vaikuntha.

  4. As per belief, Vijaya and his brother Jaya used to protect the heavenly kingdom.

  5. Devotees usually pray to Lord Vishnu for their happy life on earth while observing Vijaya Ekadashi fast.
