ACHIEVEMENTS - 2012 Delivery • LOTE – 10 languages at Certs I – IV • Learner Support – Foundation Studies and Languages providing support in more than half the sections at Ultimo • Disabilities – Inclusive teaching and ‘Staying the Course’ delivered to other sections • Cert IV Communication and Media – successful exhibition of student work in Tunnel Space in November • Eora ran two successful Indigenous Police Recruitment Own Way Delivery (IPROWD) in 2012 Art Express • HSC student artwork selected in statewide exhibition in 2013 (3rd year in a row) Awards • TAFE NSW Innovation & Excellence Showcase • PLACE A Third Home - Silver Medal • Building Our Mob – Bronze Medal • Back on track for Life – Bronze Medal SI Events • Sydney Institute Open Day • 2012 Staff Celebration winner - PLACE project • Teacher English/Communication – Highly Commended in Teaching Excellence Award 2012 Staff Celebrations Student Excellence Awards • College Achievement Awards for Ultimo (TPC) and Eora (General Education) NCVER Community of Practice Scholarship • Language teacher won a scholarship to investigate Language policy and the VET sector
