1. Prompt 1- Theme: Accidents & injuries • You were on vacation with your family in a Latin-American country when disaster struck! You need to write a detailed report for the local police explaining what happened. • In your report you need to include: • What country you were in, the time, date and what the weather was like at the time of the disaster • What you were doing at the time • What happened due to the disaster occurring • Who did/didn’t get injured • Who arrived to help and what they did to help • Feel free to describe any additional details so that your report is complete.

2. Prompt 2 –Theme: Childhood & childhood memories • You are volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club. They have paired you with a shy, Spanish-speaking child. You decide to produce a video to describe what you were like as a child, hoping to break the ice. Write the script that you will be using in the video. • You will want to include the following: • An introduction of yourself • A description of what you were like when you were little (your personality and physical appearance) • A description of what you used to do when you were little (when, with whom, where and why) • A description of what you used to like/dislike when you were little • Feel free to include anything else that will allow you to better connect with him/her.

You have been assigned to make a presentation to your Spanish class about a shopping trip you took. Write the script for the presentation in which you will share where you went and what you bought. In your script, be sure to include: • The places you went & sequence them in order • What you bought, description of items and for whom • How much you spent & how you paid • How you got around (transportation, walked, etc.) • Feel free to include anything other details about your trip.
