Its not the Fire, Its the Heat! • An Asphalt Cement fire is hard to start, but once lit it is very difficult to put out. • Thin liquid - can easily splash or spray. • Will cause immediate, severe burns on contact with skin. • Will boil water instantly and explosively. • Will boil asphalt emulsions just as easily. • Great care required when working with Hot Asphalt.
