  18. Have You Met Us? New Hire Group (NHG)was created by a group of new hires many years ago to meet others on base and network in a social environment. NHG is primarily made up of new hires but welcomes all that are interested, regardless of age. NHG events typically include one monthly lunch during the workday at a restaurant near the base and after-work events during the week and on weekends. NHG announces social activities, housing ads, local city events, GOAL assignments, and other miscellaneous events in regular emails.
