Stanford Calendar – It’s coming! • Migration Weekend–July 4th–Independence Day • Sundial data will be migrated to the new Stanford Calendar • Webmail will be available throughout the conversion. • Sundial will be available throughout the conversion • Make sure access rights in Sundial are set exactly the way you want them, by June 24th(for more information visit: emailcalendar.stanford.edu – checklist). • Please do not make changes to your Stanford calendar during the migration weekend. • Sundial changes made after 5pm on July 1st will NOT be migrated to the Stanford Calendar. • If you are already using Stanford Calendar, Sundial data will be added to it.

  3. What will be migrated? • Meetings • Past, present, and future meetings will be migrated • All Day Events, Daily Notes • Meetings may be divided to three calendars: Calendar, Confidential, and Personal • Locations and Resources • Resource names will be updated to their new Stanford Calendar resource name • New Contact information available • Tasks • Tasks tab shows your Sundial tasks • Centrally managed groups • converted to Distribution Lists – Zimlet–Distribution List Scheduler • Sundial Contacts and Private Groups–NOT migrated

What’s In It For Me • Easy web access: type “webcal” at location bar • Integrated Email & Calendar Experience • From your email you can Accept (populates webcal) or Decline meetings • Easy Access to Stanford Who (with Stanford View) • Create as many calendars as you need • Share your calendar with others • Drag-and-drop web interface • Easier searching for locations, resources, and contact groups • Over the air sync of calendar data to your PDA
