Overview of the College New Venture Challenge • 2010-12: Social Innovation Challenge • 2012-13: Inaugural College New Venture Challenge • CNVC: Ideas, Teams, Workshops, Planning, Mentoring, Presenting, Prizes! • Up to $30,000 in awards and other opportunities
CNVC: Dates, Rules and Logistics Phase I: Draft and submit feasibility summaries • Due February 10, 2013 • Notified February 27, 2013 Phase II: Develop full business plan • BP and Investor Pitch • Mentors and other useful connections • Two pitch opportunities: April 8 and April 29 • NOTE: Feedback is expected to be brutal but incredibly helpful • Final business plans due May 2 Phase III: Teams selected to present at CNVC finals • 5+ CNVC teams present on May 22 • Finalist teams invited to present at UChicago Innovation Showcase Official Rules, Forms, FAQs and other useful info are available at: http://research.chicagobooth.edu/nvc
