ETL Listing • Why ETL Listing? • Eliminate the requirement for independent lab testing to meet local inspector’s demands. • Reduce cost to acquire local inspection approval. • Installations completed on-time – no “red tag” problems; no unforeseen delays. • ETL listing replaces need for UL or CSA listing (good in USA and Canada.) • ETL more flexible than UL or CSA. • When? • Target products to be ETL listed by end of 2002.
