Represents the interests of the skilled Crafts at all political levels Participates on legislative processes and initiatives to guide the frameworks for craft and small business Makes proposals for the city and federal development, regional planning, environment policy Keeps contact to all important authorities Reports about the economic situation of the Craft in the region Promotes the skilled Crafts in the public 1. Task – Representation of interests Chamber of skilled Crafts in Leipzig Registers the skilled Crafts and Craft related industries Orders and inaugurates experts Manages and monitors the vocational training Organises and implements exams Operates statements Chamber of skilled Crafts in Leipzig 2. Task – Self-administration Offers a wide range of further education courses, information meetings and consultation days Gives advices on all Craft related topics from start-up advice, export, funding programs, trade fairs, new technologies and law to environment Gives support on the search of cooperation partners, qualified employees, business follow-ups, apprentices Monitors projects on professional and Craft related topics (e.g. round table) Provides information through the membership paper „DHB – German Craft Paper“ and on the internet 3. Ecological building, (mudbrick building, green covering of roofs a. o. ) Environment and Transfer Centre Course: Construction and Energy Consultant in the skilled Craft Building and construction Building physics Technical plants Energy saving order Modernisation planning Measurement of airtightness Duration: 230 hours, along the job, co financed by the ESF, final exam possible Content: Target group: building, sanitary, heating, air-conditioning, electronic, carpenter and chimney sweep crafts as well as civil engineer and architects Craftsman who successfully passed the exam are named ”Construction and Energy Consultant in the skilled Craft“ and are entitled to issue the statutory energy passport for buildings (old buildings).
