How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? The convention of the product is the different ways that you’re able to use it. Any one can use it, no matter what your skin, gender, race, and religion can use it. The product supports everyone as shown by a regular teenage boy.
How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? The product helps the audience use mugs that they might not use and make it useful in different ways. They're able to use the mugs as coat hangers, drink holders, stereos and many more things. This might inspire them to also use other material and make it a product of their own. In media text it would only be distributed as a popular product since it is mostly a home necessity.
How did your production skills develop throughout this project? We were able to use different kinds of editing skills in order to emphasize the commercial. We were able to put clips together in a more comedic way than the music video. We were able to add more text and figures.
How did you integrate technologies in this project? In this project as a method of technology we used a cannon camera and a MacBook. We used iMovie as an editing app in order to put the commercial together.
