Default 1. A pre-set option: an option that will automatically be selected by a computer if the user does not choose one.
Default It may be because the existing option is acceptable or it may mean the user has not taken the time or effort to change it to a more acceptable option. Either way the computer decides due to inactivity of the person. They don’t care or they don’t make the effort to fix it.

Romans 9:1-3 I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit— 2 I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, 4 the people of Israel.
Acts 21:10-14 • “10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”
Acts 21:10-14 12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”
Acts 28:25-28 “Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet: 26 “‘Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” 27 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.
Acts 28:25-28 Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’[a] 28 “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!”
I. Grieve over their situation. • If they are Jews- Paul’s Passion. • If they are Gentiles- Paul’s Calling.
Acts 9:15-16 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”
Romans 9:3-5 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, 4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. 5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen

Rodney Stark Stark points out that the willingness to suffer in order to care for the sick had a part to play in large numbers of people in the Roman Empire turning to Christ.
Romans 10:1-4 1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.
Romans 10:1-4 3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
III. Desire and Pray for their salvation (10:1-4) A. Some are zealous about God.

Charlie Brown “How can we lose when we are so sincere?” Sincerity is no guarantee of correctness.
III. Desire and Pray for their salvation (10:1-4) • Some are zealous about God. B. Some have incorrect knowledge about God.

The sound of a broken record—such are our prayers at times. They reflect our stubborn consistency about this request or that concern. God is in no way unconcerned when we pray for those without Christ- even if to us it sounds like a broken record.
“Am I willing to grieve over the lost and accept the cost for reaching them?’

What one person could not accomplish alone, a team of people did. "Every one of those people put their lives in danger," assistant Logan police chief Jeff Curtis said. "Those people are heroes. You can only speculate what the outcome would have been if they hadn't lifted that car."
