Change Funding Model • Adopted by Board of Governors on March 13, 1998 • Initial funding provided by 1998 session of General Assembly for FY 98-99 Revenue Domain for SCH Funding Model • Areas considered to be appropriate for inclusion in the model were identified • Formula covers only activities that are available for “assuring successful student outcomes” • Formula does not include funds for: • Organized Research • Public Service • Self Funded Activities – housing, food, student activities, etc. • Formula is for change budget funding only.
Change Funding Model • Applies only to “Regular Term and Distance Education” funding • 12-cell matrix comprised of 4 areas of instruction and 3 levels of instruction • Instruction – Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral • Areas of Instruction
