Attitudes Toward Ourselves Humility – Romans 12:3,16 John 13:6-17 Matthew 25:21 Teachability- Proverbs 15:31,32 Includes: Eagerness to Learn & Grow Ability to learn from correction, profit from advice & criticism
Attitudes Toward Ourselves Honesty Toward Our Mistakes – Willingness to Admit Our Mistakes James 5:16 “confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” Willingness to Correct Them – people who learn from their mistakes
Attitudes Toward Our Brethren Love – John 13:34,35 “love one another; as I have loved you” 1 Peter 1:22,23 “love one another fervently with a pure heart.” IF we truly Love One Another, What could possibly keep us from working together?
Attitudes Toward Our Brethren Cooperation – 1 Corinthians 12:21 “the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you” We need to be able not only to work, but to work together!
Attitudes Toward Our Brethren Appreciation for others & their work – 1 Corinthians 1:14 1 Thessalonians 5:12,13 “Expressing appreciation is like grease on the gears of a machine.. It makes others do their work much better!”

Attitudes Toward Our Work Positiveness- Philippians 2:14 “Do all things without complaining and disputing.” The Chronic Complainer & Negative Thinker are obstructions to the work of a congregation.

These Attitudes Will Help the Cause of Christ in Any Congregation 2 Timothy 2:21 “a vessel for honor, sanctified & useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.”
